Plants Used in This Shroud
This shroud was dyed using a traditional botanical process with:

The Botanical Dyeing Process
The fabric was first prepared in a bath of natural tannins derived from pomegranate.
This step strengthens the fibre and allows the colour to bond deeply and permanently.
It was then immersed in a cutch dye bath and left to soak slowly, allowing the plant pigments to develop naturally over time.
No synthetic dyes are used.
No chemical finishes are applied.
The fabric remains fully biodegradable.
This slow process honours traditional textile methods and supports a gentle return to the earth.
